HFM Wins Pride In Harborough 2013 Award
Award For Raising The Profile Of The Town
HFM are delighted to announce that the station won the "Raising The Profile Of The Town" category in this years Pride In Harborough Awards. The annual event, organised by the Harborough Mail was held at the Three Swans Hotel on Friday April 26th. HFM received numerous nominations for the title – one read: “HFM has revolutionised the distribution of information to residents of the Harborough District. They work tirelessly to ensure people are kept up to date about the latest local news and local events taking place.
Another read: “The team are a great bunch who work tirelessly to promote the town and we should be very proud they are now in their 6th year of broadcasting.”
Also reaching the final stage of the competition was breakfast show host Dave Irving. He received nominations into the Fundraising and Unsung Hero categorys for his work on his Quids For Kids events. Each year Dave hosts a coffee morning, and proceeds from this is then presented to two local schools.
