MEMORIAL DAY
Hundreds turned out on Sunday September 25th for a special service exactly ninety years on from the unveiling of Market Harborough's war memorial on Market Harborough’s Town Square.
The town's services organisations were part of the event as well as the Harborough Band, who played the last post before a moment of silence was observed.
The cross serves as a tribute to not only to the 248 soliders from the town and the Bowdens who lost their lives during World War One, but also to all those who served.
