HFM is to get even more local thanks to an award of nearly £10,000 from the Big Lottery Fund!
We are running a series of programmes entitled ‘Village Voices,’ highlighting village life, each featuring one village within HFM’s coverage area of South Leicestershire and North Northamptonshire.
We're looking for individuals, families, charitable groups and organisations willing to come along to put forward their views and opinions, and share their memories, experiences and hopes for the rural community.

People at the recordings will have the opportunity to record 
their comments and views to feature
in the forthcoming programme on-air. One of the highlights of the event at Wilbarston was the live music, and as part of Village Voices, we are looking for local musicians to take part.
You can be in a band, an orchestra, or a soloist, and we are looking for as many types of music as possible. So, if you live in Wilbarston, contact us on info@harboroughfm.co.uk or just come along on the night and you could soon be on the radio!

“We have a considerable amount of listeners in outlying areas away from Market Harborough itself, and this will enable them to play an active role in the output of the station”.
“We hope there will be a lot of interest from the local villages and lookforward to speaking to as many local people as possible.”
Letters have been sent to parish councils in villages within HFM’s transmission area to see if they’d be interested in taking part.
