Find Me on Air: Sunday afternoons from 4pm with showstoppers....the very best from the world of musical theatre.
First Job: If you don't count paper-boy...then a medical records clerk for the NHS ....then computer programmer for various hospitals...but I was rubbish at it.
Favourite Music: anything ....from THE BEATLES...ELTON JOHN....TO SHAM 69....SEX PISTOLS........AND OF COURSE ...MUSICAL THEATRE.
Favourite Food: Greek/french/italian......and anything with lamb.
Favourite Drink: Pernod & lemonade in a tall glass with lots of ice.......or a G&T....or guinness.......or red wine...white wine....
Star Sign: Taurus
Who is the most famous person you’ve ever met? I've met many over the years as I'm an actor.......I'd love to name-drop but I won't.
Favourite Holiday Destination: A quiet Greek island....beach...booze and a book. Saying that....I've been all round the world as an actor and have been to some wonderful countries and seen some fantastic architecture......the TAJ MAHAL....is breathtaking.
Favourite TV Programme / Film: I'm a bit of a news
junkie.....newsnight...questiontime...have I got news for you..or anything with Kathy Burke in. Favourite film - THE DRESSER...Albert Finney & Tom Courtney.
Best Thing about Working at HFM: Free tea.....and the team spirit!
Fascinating Fact about Me: I suppose the fact that I'm the new "Nimble" bread man....you may have seen the advert... where a builders trousers keep falling down 'cos his wife been giving him Nimble bread....that's me. I've been a professional actor for 15 years....other than that......I'm just an ordinary bloke.
Your Favourite Pass Time / Hobby: Don't really get time for one...I love cricket but don't get to watch as many matches as I'd like.
Most embarrassing (NOT RUDE!) Moment: Going up to a famous actor (at a showbiz party)..and saying ..."you remind me of someone".
His reply.."It's probably me". It was. I was a little bit drunk though.
What made you want to get a job in the radio industry: I've always wanted to do it.....I just wrote to HFM....and here I am ...the fools !!!
