Jessie Mason
Harborough seven-year-old Jessie Mason is currently having treatment for Leukaemia.
She was diagnosed with the condition just before Christmas and is currently having chemotherapy treatment.
A campaign is now underway to raise enough money to send Jessie and her family on holiday to Disneyland in Florida so they can all have a well earned rest.
HFM's Gemma Higgs will be having all her hair shaved off for the fund next month!!

The Harborough mixed pairs darts league are holding their annual charity match on Thursday 9th april at the Conservative Club in aid of the fund.

The Eva Winston-Hart Cord Blood Storage bid
It's thanks to Eva Winston-Hart that HFM is on air, as the three year old officially switched us on back in February 2007!
At that time Eva was suffering from a rare form of Leaukaemia, but since then she has had a stem cell transplant to make her better.
The stem cells were taken from an umbilical cord, which was stored in a US cord public bank, after being donated by the parents of a little boy born in America just five months before Eva’s diagnosis.
Currently the UK stores less than 1% of our available cord blood in a public bank and this needs to change.
Eva's family have launched a petition which they will present to the government, to highlight the need for investment in cord blood storage. Your signature will make a difference.
Here at HFM we're acting as the central point for all petitions to be returned to.

Campaigning for a new cinema in Market Harborough
Harborough eleven year olds Lucy Seaward and Mollie Drewry have used their own initiative to launch a petition calling for a new cinema to be opened here in Market Harborough.
